The public comment period for the draft AS 4485 ‘Security for Healthcare Facilities’ – Part 1 ‘General’ and Part 2 ‘Procedures Guide’ closes 19 June 2020.
The original Standard was published in 1997 and this draft reflects substantial revision and updating.
This is a very important Standard for anyone responsible or involved in the security of people and property in healthcare facilities i.e., hospital, residential aged-care facility or other facility where healthcare (including related core services) is delivered to patients within Australia.
